Warta U23 suffers first defeat on the season with a 1:2 score at home against DeKalb County United.
Warta played a very poor performance and made huge mistakes which lead to their first defeat at the hands of DeKalb.
Visitors took the lead in the 8th minute as they took advantage of one of the mistakes in defense and made us pay with a goal.
Demente Mason equalized in the 23rd minute as he finished off an up top pressure which caused a turnover and same the opponent took advantage of ours, so did we.
Warta found themselves down once again as the visitors forced another turnover deep in our defensive half and scored a goal in the 33rd minute.
Throughout the game, both teams created chance after chance as they made the game more exciting but neither could score another goal on the night.
Unfortunately, Warta failed to score an equalizer despite constant pressure, Marreno hit the post and Joshua Cruz followed up was saved with a spectacular effort from the opposing goalkeeper.
Exciting match ended in Wartas first defeat on the season as they travel to Joliet tomorrow to take on Steel City Academy.
