Warta opened their second half of the season with a win at home!
Warta hosted Gazelle at the Collage of DuPage after returning back from summer break and with a new signings, the team got their three points from a very difficult match.
Gazelle came out strong right from the start and it took Wartas new players to adjust and settle down the game.
With a score locked at 0:0, homeside finally broke thru in the 40th minute as Gabriel Almedia received a perfect over the top ball from skipper Chris Madro and with calm finish he placed it into the back of the net before the break.
In second half, both teams once again took their time to adjust before another new signings Hasiem Valerio placed the ball in the back of the net in 72nd minute of play.
The tension heading up between these two teams, as frustrated Gazelle coach received a red card for releasing his anger at the officials.
Minutes later, Gazelle were awarded a penalty which they converted in the 86th minute to cut the lead at half.
Warta held on to the win and secured three points as they push for the top spot hunt.
