Warta U23 lost their final match of the season after a dramatic match!
Warta lost their final finale against already crowned champions Rockford FC with a 1:2 score as Jose Matute was the only score for the home side.
Despite the defeat, Warta played a well organized soccer and should have had a better result but failed to put away their opportunities they had.
After scoreless first half, the match turned up a pace in the second where we saw three goals and many more opportunities from both teams.
Unfortunately the result was not in favor of the home side as they looked well organized and disciplined on the field, moving the ball around and spreading the opponent as wide as they could to create space.
Space opened and opportunities opened up but the lack of finishing touch was not on our side again tonight.
Warta finished the season in fourth place with just two defeats on the season including tonight’s at the hand of Rockford FC and DeKalb County United earlier in the season.
